This is what I was doing all day. "Helping" change the springs on my friend's MR2 Spider along with DancesWithRotors. What I really did is fix the seatbelts (which were twisted), so that's more important clearly. Anyway after that we went and ate some food things, then went to Harbor Freight to pick up a Sawzall. What would we do with that you say? Well...

We cut the exhaust off because racecar. This is my friend's autocross car so the racecar excuse is legitimate. Anyway I also got to drive this thing and holy handgrenade it's fun! I'd say this ranks above the NC Miata I drove, definitely. Now if you'll excuse me, there's an angry Miata mob forming outside my house.

PS: Drifting Road is a real place and I was near it today.....but the irony is that drifting road is totally straight.

I do too now. Plus, I'm a Toyota guy so I'd probably get one over a Miata lol, which is surprising because I love Miatas

As for drifting road, apparently, it's pretty serious since it asks for your resume before it will navigate you there! Best lay down some nice qualifying times.

I still think the best car in that trio is the lowered Mazda Axela hiding in the back... (Yes, shameless plug of my own car...)

Seriously, though, that MR-S is wicked fun. I hate to admit it, but it may be even more fun than the Fiat, and that's saying something.

Also, you missed the really colourful language. That was when we were putting the lowering springs on my car, and our friendly MR-S owner said, "We don't need spring compressors," right before the left front spring shot the upper strut bearing several feet.

Watch that O2 for some funky behavior.
